Diverter Valve Installation on the Faucet

1. Remove old faucet aerator and replace with diverter valve/aerator. It may be
necessary to use one of the supplied adapters to fit the diverter valve to your existing faucet. Be sure to use supplied "O"
rings to prevent leakage.

2. After installing diverter valve, run cold
water through the filter for 15 - 20 minutes to flush out the system. This water filter system is designed to filter cold water ONLY.

3. The Countertop Superior is designed for annual filter replacement or after 2,500 gallons, whichever occurs first.

Filter Replacement:

1. To change the filters, unscrew the base from the housing, using the supplied housing wrench.

2. After disassembly, it is more convenient to hold the unit upside-down and place the
filter in the long, top part of the housing.

3. Smear a little Vaseline on the filter element seal and place it in the groove in the top of the housing.

4. Then, screw the housing to the base, while holding the unit upside-down.

5. After assembly, use the housing wrench to GENTLY tighten the unit. Do not over-tighten.

6. Run cold water and flush the system for 15- 20 minutes.
